Business entities wishing to tender for the supply of goods and/or services to the public sector (i.e. Government Ministries/Departments, Institutions, Statutory Boards, and other public sector organisations) may be required to have a valid Government Supplier registration (commonly known as EPPU registration).

If Government Supplier registration is required for any particular tender, this will be stated in the tender notice and documentation.

Once you are a registered GeBIZ Trading Partner, you will be able to log in to your account. Upon login, the Dashboard will be the first thing you see. The Dashboard gives an overview of the various notifications you have that are pending your action.

GeBIZ has an in-built messaging system to provide a means of communication between buyers and suppliers regarding all contracting instruments existing between them.

GeBIZ has a convenient way for you to edit your personal profile from the “My Profile” link at the “My Stuff” main page. From this link, you may also do other activities like change your password and terminate your subscription account with GeBIZ.

Note: Suppliers who are using their Singpass to log in to their accounts are required to change their personal password at the Singpass website.

GeBIZ has a convenient way for you to terminate your subscription account from the “My Profile” link at the “My Stuff” main page. However, if you are holding a free authorised representative account for your company, you WILL NOT be allowed to terminate this account. (Refer to the “More Information” tab to learn what you need to do to terminate a free account.)

As a registered Government Supplier, you may now do the following activities using your account:

• Add Supply Heads
• Upgrade your Financial Category
• Renew Supply Heads (only available 3 months prior to the expiry of any existing Government Supplier Registration)

You can pay for your GeBIZ account subscription fees and GeBIZ Mall hosting plan services fees conveniently from the “Bills” module located on the "My Stuff" main page.

Tenders and quotations are examples of different types of opportunities that you can respond to. GeBIZ provides intuitive ways for you to submit your responses. You can also make edits and resubmit your response as long as it is before the tender or quotation closing date. This section deals with the steps to take to submit your response to a tender or quotation you are interested in, as well as how to edit the information in your response should you need to do so.

Qualifications are one example of a type of business opportunity that you can respond to.

You can easily find out the results of the various business opportunities that you have submitted, e.g. who the opportunity was awarded to and who the respondents are besides your company.

You may conveniently view the various types of contracting instruments you have under the "My Stuff" menu. The types of contracting instruments available for viewing are:

• Contract notifications
• Letters of acceptance (LOAs)
• Purchase orders (POs)

You may view the invoicing instructions from your contracting instruments under the "My Stuff" menu. These are the invoicing instructions that you should use for invoicing.

Note that the items in an invoicing instruction are grouped into two categories to facilitate payments from the buyer. These categories are:

• Item by quantity: This is the normal standard invoicing instruction where the amount is determined by both price and quantity. Goods acceptance and payment will be processed based on quantity received.
• Item by amount: This is to cater for service purchase, such as manpower or project milestone payments, which cannot be easily determined by the exact amount from quantity and unit price together. Thus, there is a requirement to cater the flexibility to specify the exact item amount for service amount variations. Goods acceptance and payment will be processed based on amount instead of quantity received.

Period contracts are established to supply a list of goods and services at a pre-determined rate for a period of time between the supplier and the government agency buyer. You may view the period contracts at the "My Stuff" main page.

GeBIZ Mall serves as your online marketplace to promote your products and services to the government agencies by publishing them in the electronic catalogue. It allows you to participate in the Small Value Purchases segment of Government procurement.

If you are creating a number of similar items to publish in your hosting plan, you can cut down the time taken to create the items by creating an item template for one item. You can then apply this item template to create the other similar items quickly.

Besides creating item templates, you can also manage the template conveniently, e.g. you may edit a template or delete it.

If you have more than 20 items in your hosting plan, you can upload them by bulk with the help of an Excel template.

After you have created a hosting plan (i.e. a non-complimentary plan), you have to make payment for it before the hosting plan can be published and made available to buyers at GeBIZ Mall.
