AMIS instructors for 5-sessions of Erhu Programme for Pri 2 Students in Pei Chun Public School (2027)
The 5-session erhu training programme aims to equip Pri 2 students
with foundational knowledge and skills in erhu playing, while
developing their understanding and appreciation of the instrument
and its cultural context. By the end of the programme, students
should be able to:
1. Identify and understand the erhu
o Identify the main parts of the erhu.
o Understand the origins and cultural significance of
the erhu, including its place in traditional Chinese
music and cultural performances
